Gripple Automation has designed and manufactured a range of automated wire rope cutting and dispensing products. Originally developed for use in wire system manufacturing solutions created for Gripple Ltd, these machines are designed to be integrated into other systems or work as stand alone units.
Wire rope cutting & fusing machine
The Gripple Automation Wire Cutting & Fusing machine is capable of processing wire ropes and strands in a variety of diameters. Optimised for use with our fully automated wire and cable Dereeler, the fuser is capable of delivering approximately 1,500 units of 1 meter lengths per hour.
Wire is cut and fused before being fed into a downstream machine or deposited into a dispensing tray. The desired wire lengths and batch quantities are controlled form the simple user interface when connected to a dispensing tray or remotely when connected to a downstream machine.

Wire rope & cable dereeler
Our fully automated compact wire rope and cable Dereelers with their simple one touch reel loading and unloading, are capable of processing a range of braided wire rope, electrical and mono filament cables in a variety of diameters at up to 20 meters per second. Designed as a standalone unit the dereelers are capable of handling wire reels of up to 400kg in weight with wire diameters of between 1 to 6 millimeters and can be integrated into downstream equipment such as our wire fuser.
With up to 10 meters of accumulation, the Dereeler is configurable for a variety of wire drum diameters with automatic drum width sensing and end of reel detection. A simple user interface allows the operator to configure custom accumulator tension profiles and interrogate the systems onboard diagnostics.
Automated drum clamping and lifting significantly reduces issues around moving and handling as the Dereeler can accommodate wire reels of up to 600mm in width and 800mm in diameter.
